2009 Audi A3 Cabriolet
For this Mexican Classifieds there is another forbidden fruit for the American market that us tortilla eating, and those espresso drinking europeans can enjoy under the sun. This is the 2nd Gen A3 which we got in Mexico with several engine choices that made it a very good choice in the Premium Hatchback segment.
But this is a harder to find car. The Audi A3 cabrio is basically a Golf in an Hugo Boss Suit, breath of mint, splash of lotion, and a fancier accent. Which makes it undeniably cool. It is a car you just WANT to be seen in. And, thanks to its 2.o litre turbo with 200HP engine from its more Philistine brother the GTI, this feels swift. The only drawback being a lack of a stick (Its an S-tronic box). As for the handling, it is based on the GTI though thanks to the roof mechanism and weight I wouldn't expect it to be a Miata rival in the smiles department. You can see it as between a GTI and an Eos.
Having this car instantly gets you attention, and that same feeling of cool superiority you have when wearing new shoes or flying first class. And, thanks to the gods of depreciation, you don't have to pay a fortune to feel that way.
This example has 42000 km. or 26,097 Miles. Not really hard driven miles by its mostly female, mostly wealthy owner. Cost for it to you seeker of the good things in life? $254,500 pesos, or just $19,393 Dollars.

I never knew this monstrosity existed. My A3 is scared and confused as to why someone would do this to one of his siblings
